Hi! Welcome to Alida’s Kitchen. Thank you for stopping by. I’m Alida (pronounced with a long “I”) and I love all things peanut butter, pumpkin and muffins. Cheese ranks up there as well.
Alida’s Kitchen features easy, tasty, and (usually) healthy recipes the whole family will enjoy! I am known for my healthy chicken recipes, lighter dessert recipes, and tasty vegetarian recipes.
I started Alida’s Kitchen as a way to catalog my easy recipes and photographs, and also to inspire others to try new recipes. I strive to make food using simple ingredients, that is approachable, delicious…and most of the time with a healthy twist. The occasional indulgence is fun too!
When not in the kitchen, I am singing to my newborn Greta while chasing around my preschooler Adam, catching up on DVR with my husband Mike or finding a time to exercise. I love running, spinning, weight training, pilates and think everything should be done on a Bosu.
