1 cup roughly chopped pretzels, plus 30 whole pretzels for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line cookie sheet(s) with parchment paper and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars for 2 minutes, or until combined and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, and beat until combined.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture and beat on low until just combined.
By hand, fold in chocolate chips and chopped pretzels.
Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto prepared cookie sheet(s). Using the bottom of a glass, press down on cookies to flatten. Gently press a whole pretzels on top of each cookie.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until cookies are set. Transfer parchment paper to wire rack so cookies can cool completely.
